I met with my peer-edit partner Jhassette today. We discussed the final outcomes of our paper and I recommended a few locations for her to visit for her research since we have the same topic.

I have viewed a few different fashion shows since I joined Second Life. In my opinion its not only a great way to find out the latest trends, but also most of the items are available for the items are available for purchase right after the show. The fashion shows are life like and have an array of assortments. I never would've thought there would be so many things in Second Life to do for entertainment. When it comes to entertainment in Second Life, there are several activities available including virtual concerts, fashion shows, clubs and shopping.

Peer-Edit Partner

Last week before I left town I made an effort to find a peer-edit partner. I came across two people who needed peer-edit partners. Elisala is one and the other is Jahsette. Myself and Elisala sit down and exchanged e-mail address and I looked over his introduction of what he had. I explained to him what i would change and what i would do differently and he seemed to understand well. Myself and Jahsette were not able to meet up yet but i'm looking forward to it when we do.

Car Accident

I haven't been on my blog all week because, I recently got into a horrific car accident. I fell asleep behind the wheel. The car flipped twice and 3 out of 4 people that were in the car had on a seatbelt. The airbags did not deploy. I'm just so thankful to be alive and able to tell the story. I am truly blessed beyond belief. Its funny how something can turn your life around so fast. I suffered numerous injuries. Fractured ankle, Bruised chest, shoulder, ribs and right side.

Sweedish Partner

Still haven't gotten in contact with my sweedish partner. I e-mailed him four times and attached dr. carter once. I am going to e-mail him again and attach dr. c again today and see what happens. I hate to admit but i'm kinda jealous that in class I was sitting next to someone and she teleported to a club with her sweedish partner. Really neat but I feel kinda left out. Hopefully, Something will happen soon.

Revised Introduction and Thesis Paragraph

Second life is a virtual avatar program that over a million people worldwide use on a daily basis. When I first began my second life experience, it was indeed a bit difficult to learn but it is one of those things a person has to spend time on to get the hang of. Second life can be used for many different things such as, classes, vacations, getting tattoos, going to the bars and clubs, and even having or attending a wedding. The wedding styles in second life seem so surreal. For second life weddings, people can choose their location of the wedding, decorations as well as the theme.

Sweedish Partner

I haven't met with my sweedish partner yet. However, I am excited to meet with him soon. He wasn't in class last week but I did send him and e-mail asking him what would be a good time for us to meet, introducing myself and so on. Hopefully I will hear back from him soon. His name is Okan Bilgin.
